Skew was a newsletter from the Center for Teaching, Learning & Technology at Washington State University. It was designed to be edgy and included elements (like my Pedagogical Avenger comic) that poked fun at the starchiness of academia. Skew won both a Clarion and Apex Award in 2004. My contributions included illustrations, writing, and some design work.
Modeling the Environment was published by Island Press. I produced the cover for the first edition that incorporated the author’s photograph and symbols from the digital models he created. I also illustrated the text.
Phenomenology & Music is an edition of an academic journal called The Turnip Truck(s). I designed the inaugural edition and produced a number of the illustrations.
